As a customer of Eggardon Country Cooks please accept our terms and conditions detailed below. We aim to make your experience with us a happy one by providing great customer service and providing exceptional food which meets all expectations. Through our terms and conditions we can ensure everyone’s experience is a safe and happy one.
For meal delivery services, please note our menu changes on a monthly basis and we appreciate as much notice as possible for your choices and preferred days. We understand that life happens so, once booked, please let us know at least by 10:00 am the day before your meal is due if you would like to cancel your meal. We are sorry but food will be charged for if it is not cancelled in time. A sample order form can be viewed here.
For all food events, we will ask for a 10% deposit prior to your event. This will confirm your booking. We shall send you an email acknowledging the payment and the details of your event. Cancellations more than 14 calendar days before the event will be refunded in full. Any cancellations after this time will regrettably be charged at the price agreed at the time of booking.
We will need to know of any dietary or allergy information at the time of booking either over the phone or by using the website booking form. Please tick the boxes required for this information. All allergen information is available at Brown’s Farm, Nettlecombe and can be discussed at any time with any of our trained staff.
Note: Our kitchen is not a nut free environment because of the items we cook so we are sorry we cannot guarantee food is free of nut allergens, although we can cook items ‘without nuts’.
All delivery equipment is the property of Eggardon Country Cooks and we will collect this within 3 calendar days of the food service. This equipment is very expensive so special care is required to avoid unnecessary breakages. Please do not place dishes in the microwave. This will eventually damage the heat retaining element within the plates. Eggardon Country Cooks reserves the right to charge for damage caused by ignoring this advice.
If you wish to re-heat your food, please place in the oven at 180 degrees and only heat once to avoid any food safety issues.
Eggardon Country Cooks payment terms are strictly within 30 days from the time you receive your invoice from us.

Payments can also be made over the phone – Just call our kitchen on 01308 485115 to us this service. We take most credit and debit cards.
Lunch orders can be made through this website where you will require to register and your card details for payment.
We have the right to chase non-payments after the 30 days have lapsed. We will give you adequate time to pay your invoice in a timely manner. If the invoices are not paid, we will then contact your next of kin or family member to settle the account on your behalf. If this is still not rectified within 60 days, it will leave us no alternative but to pass the debt on to our debit recovery company. This will incur extra costs and dramatically affect your credit rating.
